A 3rd party agency reached out to me about a Director level position. They shared my information with the SharkNinja recruiter. She reached out; however, was going on vacation. We scheduled a time to meet upon her return. Two hours before the interview, she emailed me to tell me the position was filled. She did ask for us to remain connected and of course, I’d be happy to chat. Two weeks later, she reaches out to connect. We scheduled an interview 4 times and each time she moved it. This last time due to having to take a child to camp. This is something you know well in advance. It showed such a lack of professionalism toward someone who had not even applied for your company’s role and was proactively recruited for it. If this is the candidate experience, I shudder to think what the employee experience is.
