I had a similar experience. I read about companies that reach out to US Citizens and try to get them to fail the interview any which way possible so they can hire cheaper offshore resources once they reach a quota of failed US citizen candidates. Something about proving to the government they gave us citizens a chance but they were not good enough so now they qualify to hire offshore resources. I think ServiceNow is one of those companies. The initial recruiter only ever asked me about my visa status...and only about 3 times before setting up a technical interview which caught me off guard because I never had a chance learn about the company, tech stack, or to ask the recruiter about the company before accepting to proceed with a technical round. Probably not going to ever work at this very unprofessional company.

There's a lot of elements to typically cover in these questions, clarifications, scoping, making sure you're answering the actual question the interviewer is looking for you to answer, etc. Could be worth doing a mock interview with one of the Prepfully ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer experts... they've worked in the role so they clearly know how to get through the interview. prepfully.com/practice-interviews
