Standard interview process. Met with the recruiter, then direct report, and two cross-team interviews. First 3 interviewers, including the hiring manager, were very professional, personable, and pleasant. The person who did the 4th interview with a was very rude and extremely unprofessional with tons of “gotcha” questions. He admitted to not reading, nor caring about what was on my resume and constantly belittled my experience. Also basically claimed that I was using AI during the interview process when I wasn’t. Soured the entire experience and quite frankly is one of the rudest interviewer I have ever had in my professional career. He ended the interview literally saying “sorry, not sorry”. I later have seen that they have reposted this same position as open multiple times for multiple months and something tells me it may be because of this person. Wouldn’t want to work around them even if I had gotten the offer due to that experience. It’s a shame, because it seems like a decent company otherwise.
