Interview process was a good mix between formal and informal. As I was a passive candidate, we found ourselves in situations where we had less time than ideal. In these cases the hiring manager reached out to follow-up with a casual beer and conversation. It became clear to me that they didn't have a clear vision for the future of the team that I was joining, but I enjoy that kind of ambiguity, and look forward to helping form that vision. If ambiguity of role is concerning, I would strong re-consider. If you enjoy living in that zone, then this place will be a great fit! The final interview was long, but fun. I never thought I would say that about an interview, but I genuinely mean it. The case is challenging, and the interviewers had insightful and thoughtful questions. I enjoyed the process very much.

Initially, I met with a future peer of mine to discuss my experience, skills, and culture fit. I was then introduced to the Talent Acquisition Manager, who was interesting in understanding about my success with people, teams and growth plans, which not too many companies focus on. I then met with another future peer of mine and the conversation went mostly about my success and what I enjoy working on. Finally, I met with the hiring manager, who touched on the vision and strategy of both his and the company, which was refreshing as that proved that we can towards goals/objectives. It was clearly a pleasant experience and each one of them showed their professionalism and made me feel welcome.
