I would avoid interviewing here. The entire interview was a bait-and-switch scam! I also had some privacy concerns with them. Round 0: the co-founder reached out to me on LinkedIn asking me for a chat. I gladly accepted. The "chat" turned out to be video session on Zoom (along with an AI transcriber which was recording the session, never asked if it was okay. Red flag #1). Round 1: I received an email from a third-party recruiter, not from Slingshot. It was 30 minutes on zoom to chat. Round 2: A recruiter sent an email to my old email to schedule an interview. This email was NOT listed on my resume. I have used it in past for other recruiting/staffing agencies. My information was most likely sold to them. (red flag #2) Round 3: Meeting with the founder/CEO. He showed up to zoom with a shirt from his previous tech job. He said he just wears the shirt around in his own company. His company does have a "swag" yet as he called it. Ten minutes into this third round, I was aked a question about Java. I didn't know the answer. He abruptly ended up the zoom. And said "you are not a good fit, good luck". Unfortunately, the CEO reminded me of a young cocky college grad, whose bottle is half-full. What a miserable experience!
