This was an exceptionally disappointing experience. I met with 2 hiring managers. The first was professional and helpful, but the second was super rude and her general demeanor made it clear she didn't want to be there. Once I was able to shift the conversation and demonstrate that I am actually qualified, she began to focus on the conversation instead of appearing to blow me off. At that point she stated I that I made it to the next round which entailed meeting with the team. Once the team meeting was complete, I was ghosted by the manager and recruiter! Despite following up several times, I have yet to hear back about my candidacy. I'm assuming they're not moving forward, but it always feels terrible when candidates are treated like trash.
