Applied online and was offered an interview within a matter of a few days. At the interview I was given a paper application for employment and some other forms about myself and a privacy policy. Then I had to take a 30 minute written test, about 20 short answer questions on waves and electronics that you might see in freshman physics courses and labs. I feel like the questions were more to make sure you actually had basic physics courses rather than looking for a deep understanding of a particular phenomena or piece of equipment. I then had an interview with a manager that I thought was very relaxed and engaging as opposed to an interrogation which I feel like a lot of interviews tend to be like. After the first interview I had a second with a different manager who seemed interested in my background but we didn't have an in depth conversation because unfortunately for me I would require a higher salary than what an entry level position would reasonably pay since I would have a very long commute and can't relocate because of family reasons (on the application they ask for your required minimum starting salary).
