Interview process started in April during which i received a call from the HR who asked me personal strength questions, experience questions and then some technical questions. Got an email after that inviting for an onsite interview with the managers. Onsite Interview was in June, the interview was with two technical managers and a senior engineer. One of the managers asked me the normal behavioral and experience question. The other manager together with the senior engineer asked me about 30 verbal technical questions. The last step for this onsite interview was me answering 60 multiple choice technical questions. After a few days the HR reached out to me to saying that the managers liked me and would like to consider me for the position. After a couple of weeks i reached out to her asking about the status of the job but she had gone out of the office and asked me to contact an alternate HR. Reached out to that HR but there was no reply. Contacted the managers and even the senior engineer several times but no response. Only for me to see in July that they had advertised another opening for the same position on LinkedIn. After seeing this, i reached out to the HR which did not reply. One of the technical managers said they were still interviewing and would let me know. Fast-forward to August, i had still not received any update and so i reached out a different HR on LinkedIn who assured me that he was going to look into it. Several days later i got an email saying that they had decided to go with other candidates. My issue here is why string me all along? If they had rejected me, they should have let me know instead of ignoring my emails, messages and calls all together. In a nutshell, sophos is not professional and do not care about candidates.
