Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Splendid Spoon em nov. de 2019
Entrevista
I applied for this position on October 29th and got an email from the hiring manager a day later to set up on a call. We then had the initial interview the week after (November 7th) and all seemed well. She gave me an assignment to do over the weekend, and then asked if I would be available for a follow-up chat with some other members of the marketing team (November 11th). When the time came for the call, I received radio silence. I decided to reach back out, and she finally responded (November 20th). I had another conversation that felt very similar to our first interview, with many of the same questions. Not sure why I was told about the other members of the marketing team.
The hiring manager said that she wanted to bring me in to present to the Founder/CEO and COO, but our chat on November 22nd was the last time I heard from her. I emailed her 3x over the course a month to check in but did not hear back at all. I later find out through LinkedIn that they filled the position.
While I was very excited to work for Splendid Spoon, I was extremely surprised by the lack of professionalism I experienced. I understand that they're a start-up and people are spread thinly (maybe that's why I never ever dealt with a recruiter or HR), but I hope that someone reads this and finds a way to fix their process. You wind up missing out on a lot of great candidates when you ghost them.
