It was laid back and personable. It felt more conversational than strict questions and answers only. My interviewer was not only learning about my skills and certifications, but the kind of person I was and my personality.

I first spoke with the recruiter and was asked about why I wanted to work at St. Dominic's, as well as other interview questions, including work experience and strengths that I could bring with me to work. I was then sent to the hospital to meet with the hiring manager. I answered more questions about work experience, strengths, weakness, etc. I was also given a summary of what the position entails and what is expected from an employee.

A very nice person in Human Resources contacted me after applying and set up a phone interview. During the phone interview I was asked several questions and discussed my goals with working at the hospital. Possible positions were also discussed as to which position would fit me best. After the phone interview I received a call to schedule a 1 on 1 interview with a nurse manager.
