Entrevista
I went through a three-round interview process. The first round was with two associates from the real estate team, focused on my background and motivations and technical questions. The second round involved a technical case study, which I prepared and presented independently. The final round was a more strategic conversation with a VP and a Partner, where we discussed my investment thinking, interest in StepStone, and overall fit within the team. The process gave me a well-rounded view of the role and firm.
First round with recruiter - general introduction
Second round was a case study focused on underwriting summary of a fund
Third round an interview with a VP - again focused on background with no technicals
Fourth round with two associates - focus on technicals, commercial awareness, modelling experience and financial background with brief introduction
Fifth round would have been an interview with an MD
