The interview took one hour. I was asked about my previous experience in book selling and was asked to take a test on book knowledge. The test was very easy and I was hired immediately and introduced to my new manager. I was shown around and told to return the following Monday.

For the seasonal position, they did group interviews with 4-5 people. We went around in a circle and answered questions. It was an interview with the hiring manager. The questions generally touched on customer service and previous job experience.

Interview process was just one meeting and it was pretty casual and straightforward. It seemed mainly to be a chance to get to know your personality. They ask what you’re reading really mainly to make sure you’re happy to speak about books to customers.
Interview was simple questions with friendly managers. The interview takes about fifteen minutes. Seems like a good place to work if you want a full time job in a low stress environment.
