Got invited for a screening call with HR. Then, got invited for a 1st round interview with the hiring manager. Got rescheduled twice and then was left without any answer for about a month, despite requesting feedback directly.

Explain your motivation to join Stripe and for this specific role.
The recruiter was quite to respond with a rejection email (<2 weeks after applying). However, whoever writes their email templates should rethink them. Included is the line "To try to give a bit more context, we interview only those who fit our profile precisely," which is both insulting to the candidate and shows that the company has no tolerance for diversity of thought or experience.
