Once I realized how they don't actually know anything about Wordpress or how the back end works, I told them that I am very capable and have a decades worth of experience writing custom code, creating plugins, using hooks, working in functions, NOT using plugins, etc.. but nope.. all they were fixated on was the fact that I use plugins. I mean, that's pretty horrible considering it's Wordpress. The Fortune 40 company I make Wordpress sites while using plugins sure didn't care too much.. and they make a hell of a lot more money than this company does.
