I had a call with the hiring manager, the head of recruiting. When I told them what music meant to me, they became snarky and patronizing and basically made fun of my answer. They then spent the rest of the interview raving about the office and the view. It is one of those jobs where you have to be in office 5 days/week but the manager is remote and gets to WFH everyday. Rules for thee, not for me.

The interview process felt somewhat one sided and less conversational than I expected. I came away with the impression that candidates are expected to have a strong preexisting enthusiasm for the product, rather than developing that conviction through the interview process itself
