Initial Phone interview with HR went well. Was then asked to take an IQ test which was a bit stressful. Moved on to two VERY INFORMAL phone interviews with hiring managers. Main HR contact was very much letting me know they were interested and I was getting great reviews in during the interviews. They then flew me to GA for 4 one on one interviews, again made to feel this was just the wrap up to the process. Interviewed with 4 different people. Interviews were very casual, none of the behavioral interview questions you sometime get asked. Really just reviewed my qualifications and what to expect on the job. I returned home and waited 3 days to here back from them, that they appreciated my efforts. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Very surreal experience.

The recruiter called out of the blue to do a phone screen, no email first, no checking to see if I was available, just a cold call. She was the same recruiter who ghosted me when I applied for my first position in the field. This time she sent me through to the hiring team for the second round. The team was clearly trying to hire someone who already worked there lol, they asked several questions about their PROPRIETARY software, questions I'd only know the answer to IF I worked there. The interview still went well besides one of the interviewers asking "What have you been doing for money since being laid off?" How is that any of her business or professional? Got ghosted again.... Twice by this company! Don't waste your time. They aren't looking to hire qualified candidates, despite having a surgical background AND health software implementation, they were still more concerned with how I survived a layoff??? Make that make sense.
