I was invited to attend a video screening. I had a technical issue which meant my attendance was delayed by a few minutes (I emailed the organisers to advise of the issue at the time) once I was able to join the meeting a few minutes later, the organisers never showed up. They emailed later advising they will reschedule for the alternative day/time I had put forward in the initial correspondence. I logged in again, and again, the interviewer did not join. I received an email the following day, advising they apologised for not showing up, someone else was meant to conduct the screening, but in the meantime they had now found a candidate and thank you for my time and patience. I have never had such a chaotic introduction to a company. If the role becomes available again, I will not be taking time out of my day to write a cover letter and attend 2 screening interviews that never eventuate. In my opinion very amateurish, and not the sort of company I would like to work for, lucky escape I think.
