The interview was over zoom and felt very relaxed. I felt like they were very engaged and made me feel very comfortable, there was no attempt to be intimidating. I didn’t feel questions were asked to try and catch me out, it felt very genuine.

The application process was fairly standard. I submitted an updated copy of my CV and no cover letter was required. TLT gave me a call at the end of the week and asked a few general questions about the firm and why I chose them as my future place of employment. Then I was offered an interview. Instructions about the actual interview were sent via email and were very clear and helpful. At the beginning of the interview I was given a 15 minute task that was aimed to test my paralegal skills of collecting and using the correct information for the client's needs. Then the actual interview commenced. I was asked about my previous experience, my expectations about the work and the team, and also some time management questions. At the end I had a chance to ask my own questions, and I highly enjoyed that as getting an insight into the firm's operation is always very interesting and helpful.
