I was interviewed on the phone by the recruiter Adria Solutions who contacted me after seeing my CV online. I was put forward for the role and I had an initial telephone interview with the person who would become my line manager. Next, I attended an interview at the premises where I was interviewed face-to-face. I had to complete an application form, a numeracy test, a proofreading test and a writing test as my role would involve writing. I was called in for a second interview and met the Head of Marketing, and had a panel interview with him and my line manager. At this stage I was also given a tour of the premises, including the subsidised gym and the cafeteria. This was a nice addition to the interview process. I was offered the role after the second interview. However I think it should be pointed out applicants also must take part in an induction. You are usually expected to pass the induction satisfactorily before starting your role. The induction involved things like role play and teamwork exercises and you are assessed on your participation. Nothing to worry about though - if you've ever taken part in team work exercises in any classroom setting, it's just like that.
