      Entrevista

Really unprofessional way of negotiating a candidate's salary in this company and seems they lack empathy when communicating with new candidates. They made me submit 4-5 assessments on personality , IT skills and few others ( takes approx 4-5 hours ) along with a online video interview with the hiring manager and after passing everything they generate an offer letter. Any sensible HR handles salary negotiations over a call and tries to understand the candidate's scenario. After multiple requests to speak over the phone to discuss on few concerns which also included salary ( which they declined), they ask me to write my concerns over an email ( which I did in the absolute polite way I can ). After negotiating on emails ( not sure how the person at the other end perceives on a written document ), they retract the job offer . This happens the very next day of the offer getting generated. The Worst Part - the person generating , negotiating and retracting the job offer was never involved in the interview process. All over emails. REALLY? Also, they never pick up their calls. They might be a good company but I wouldn't recommend working for such company which isn't up to modern standards on corporate culture and communications. My two cents for the company - Please try treating the people who want to work for your company in the right way. Salary isn't everything for everyone. P.S - As per my background, I have interviewed and worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies and midsize companies.

I am very glad that this prospect applicant put this information on line. This is an important point for all who recruit at TRT. At stage #2 of the 6 step recruiting process you are asked how much is your expected salary as this. This is exactly what this applicant did , based on that information and other factors we endorsed this applicant through the various stages of the recruiting process. I the CEO who was the person who made the decision to cut this application also interviewed him as part of stage #5 the final interview. When I endorsed him to job offer Stage #6 and presented a salary offer which BTW was exactly what he had asked for in Stage #2, then he wanted to renegotiate. To the logical, this could say only one of two things. Either the applicant is not forthright or lacking in details. Neither TRT wants in a prospective employee. Renegotiating your salary at the end of the recruiting process is like selling a service or product to a client and then when they are about to buy, then you increase the price. What are the chances that a client would buy the service when the sales person increases the price right when they are about to buy the service? Very little chance many would say.. Then that's what is happening here. The advice is to avoid what happened to this applicant and others that have done the same, be very clear upfront (Stage #2) of exactly what you want in salary and conditions.
