I applied in November 2024 for the Fraud Specialist position. The process started with a 30-minute phone call with a Talent Acquisition Partner where we discussed the role and my relevant previous experience. Everything seemed fine until, at one point, she asked if I know JavaScript and if I can write scripts in Java. This was quite surprising, as it wasn’t mentioned in the job description, and typically, a role like this doesn’t require knowledge of programming languages or scripting. Overall, it was a strange moment since the position of developer implies a higher salary, than fraud specialist.
