Candidatei-me por meio de uma faculdade ou universidade. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Target (Pittsburgh, PA) em out. de 2014

Where: On-campus interview
When: Early October (hiring for both December and June start dates)
I conducted a ~60 minute online assessment. It was broken into a few time sections. Some were definitely personality-placing questions, while others were analytical. I ran out of time on one of the analytical sections.
I had an 8:30am interview slot on a Monday, and the interview lasted about 25 minutes. Things began kind of sloppily (I sat inside the room as multiple Target employees were outside arguing about which two would be interviewing me...... awkward). The interviewers were both local Store Managers, not members of HR. I understand the occasional hiccup in interviewing structure, so no big deal; I looked past this.
One Store Manager wrote notes while the other asked questions. I brought resumes, but neither wanted to see them and instead asked me to tell them about my past job experience. Then they asked me about where I saw myself in 5 years. If you give them too vague of an answer, they will ask follow-up questions to really get a good feel for where you stand.
The behavioral question portion got to be pretty annoying. Although I answered in full and explained the situations, my actions, and the outcomes extremely clearly and in detail, the interviewer asked more and more nit-picky questions. I've been previously praised on my interview skills; so I was a bit taken aback when they pushed and pushed like that. I'm an outgoing, composed (not nervous), individual but this interview style made me feel increasingly on-edge.
Overall, I walked out of the interview with a bad taste in my mouth. An interview is as much about an applicant impressing the company as it is the company impressing the applicant. Right off the bat, the interviewers expressed disinterest (not very discretely) in interviewing me because it was early on a Monday- simply unprofessional. I overlooked that; but the way the interview was conducted made me uncomfortable and almost defensive.
If this interview spoke at all to the culture of a Target store and its management, I would not want to have anything to do with this company

Got the interview from a career fair. Met with one person who handled hiring and had a great conversation and had one other phone interview. Asked me relevant questions and I was excited about the role

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.

Star format- they want a story for each accomplishment they inquire about.
The interview was straightforward and to the point. Situation based interview, what would you do in this certain scenario. Interviewer was very friendly, and welcoming. They want to make sure that you have what it takes to be a leader
