I've been reached by a recruiter on Linkedin. All the standard preaching about how amazing/disruptive the company is. Also, the standard saying that my profile is a perfect fit for them. Despite that, they haven't read a single line of my profile. During the first interview, I simply asked: "Is this going to be one of those standard selections? Tons of steps, demands and no feedback?". The recruiter got furious. Became mean, harsh and rude. A few hours later, I've gotten a message saying that I was being excluded from the selection because they value respect and professionalism. Well, I could have better phrased my question. Still, is it ok for them to be harsh like that then? I'm glad it happened. Imagine discovering how "respectful" they are after being under a contract with them?
