I had a both emotional and rewarding experience as a volunteer and a aspiring public health professional, as it is my goal to live in a world where health disparities do not exist. Cancer is a leading cause of death and there is no cure for the disease. It has been my passion to work in my community and educate my neighbors of risk factors, preventative treatments and how we can help find a cure.
