“In my previous role as a Senior Accountant for the World Bank–funded program under the Oromia Finance Bureau, teamwork was essential. One example was during the annual financial consolidation process for the donor project. Situation: We had a very tight deadline to finalize quarterly financial reports for submission to the donor, and several woredas had delays in submitting their financial data. Task: As the senior member of the accounting team, I was responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Action: I coordinated closely with the finance officers, held short daily check-ins, and assigned responsibilities based on each team member’s strengths.
