Sigiloso
I first trained in hospitality, gaining my NVQ Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality Supervision, and worked across hotels and pubs in front-of-house and supervisory roles. That gave me early experience in customer service, organisation, and leading small teams in fast-paced environments. From there, I moved into Sky, starting as an Advisor in sales and retention on live chat, before progressing into Learning and Development and then Team Leader. At British Gas, I followed a similar path, beginning as an Advisor handling boiler installation bookings, moving into Learning and Development, and then into a Team Leader role managing agents, compliance, and performance. Most recently, I worked with Scottish Sea Farms in fish health and welfare. While a very different industry, it strengthened my health and safety knowledge, compliance skills, and ability to support people under pressure. So overall, my career has always been about people, whether that is customers, colleagues, or teams, and building the skills to support and lead effectively.
