I went on to explain the 10+ years of sals experience and success. I then answered all of the follow up qustsions. I never got the opportunity to connect with a Regional Manager "due to their travel schedule and various conferences". Honestly I'm not sure I was ever presented to the RSM as my recruiter was out quite a bit and sent apologies via email after my initial inquiry. They took over 4 weeks to finally get back to me at the prompting of my 2nd inquiry and then I was sent an email indicating they had opted to go in a different direction wih an alternate candidate. I proceeded to ask for constructive feedback or a reason for the "pass" since I was qualified, had the demonstrated success, embodied their values (pillars), had done my homework, and was patient despite the lag time due to Regional Manager travel, their company conference, and the SHRM Conference.
