I would characterize the experience as strange. I applied via LinkedIn and a few days later I received an email asking to share my available time slots for next week, I complied and asked some questions about the role, it wasn't until two weeks later that that I got an invite to a technical interview, all communication seemed automated with no explanation for delays and no answers regarding my questions (stuff about contract type, etc.). The technical interview includes a coding excercise that for some reason they disclose in advance (a popular recursive algorithm). The interview went well in my opinion, as for the coding "exercise" the interviewer asked me to write down the algorithm (which as I said before they disclosed in advance...) it took literally 5 seconds. After that no communication for a week, I wrote an email asking about any feedback they had an they replied back with the decision not to move forward, again very automatic and generic.

Had fun chatting with a peer about where I came from and some Python code. We shared jokes about Python, it was was fun. But, he did spot my hole around "microservices", and saved the company some extra training. Which is cool, I guess.

Pergunta 1
What do you think of this (Python) code?
easy peasy: it was riddled with the kind of error any "Pythonista" could waffle on about for ages?
And then: "how would you imporove it?". easy peasy, except: you probably said all the ways in the first answer :-)
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Telnyx (Chicago, IL).
