Set up a time to meet with Megan and Tina, Account Management Team Lead, soon thereafter in San Jose -- we grabbed coffee and chatted about the role and company a bit on a Monday, and I went in for an onsite interview that Wednesday. Met with Erik Kostelnik, CEO, who was down to earth and intelligent, Jon Zoob, Sales Director, Christina Chan (CSM), and Tina. The buzz around the office was contagious -- everyone seemed to be genuinely excited to be there. Also got to try the sourest candy of all time :). Left the interview feeling energized and motivated and received a verbal and official offer letter within 24 hours. Having worked with many startups during my time as a recruiter, I have to say that this was the best interview cycle I've seen with a company of their size. They are growing quickly and seem to invest deeply in their team -- and it shows. As far as startups go, TextRecruit has got an extra helping of the "secret sauce."
