      Entrevista

Assessment day which got cut short and was never reorganised (as was promised at the time!); began with a quick talk about the company - similar to what you would get shown in a careers presentation when a company visits your university. Then a group exercise which involved reading through several pieces of text with different articles describing a company plan; each person in the group had to choose a different plan to back/fight for the virtual company to go forward with. After this there was an individual written exercise which consisted of 60 min to read through several pieces of text and evaluate which is the most/least important (and why). After this there was an individual interview which consisted entirely of typical interview questions. I was supposed to have a technical interview after this, which would have included me conducting a prepared presentation. I could not complete this technical interview however, as the members of staff who were to interview me had to be called away at very short notice; which I could understand. I was promised I could have this part of the assessment day to be rearranged but this never happened. I was then told after a week or so that it was in the middle of being organised. After many more weeks later, and several more emails from me inquiring about it, they had written back to me telling me that the role had then been moved to a different location and was no longer available. Despite the fact I had seen the exact position (and location) be re-advertised on the Gradcracker website. I received no feedback on why I was unsuccessful, nor was I 100% officially told I was unsuccessful. Overall, a tough assessment day with absolutely no questions on how much I knew about the position or the company, and terrible post-interview/lack-of-interview experience.
