The application process was very slow. It took around 3 weeks from applying to getting an interview and that was aided by someone internally speaking to one of the hiring managers. The interview was good, I was asked thoughtful questions and a little test on my analytical skills and what would I feel needed to be clarified with the cost centre managers based on the information available as this would form a key part of the role. I didn't hear anything for just over 2 weeks post interview and again I get the impression I only heard back due to the internal person following up with a hiring manager. Ultimately I didn't get the position due to where I live as the main hiring manager thought it was too far. (Even though my husband already works there and has done for 5 years) but otherwise they thought I would be able to do well in the role.
