When I first got hired 3 years ago there was no automated phone process. Now there is, you will get a phone call first, unless you know someone inside the store, and then they will ask you a few questions about what makes you qualified for the job. You will be in one interview with on a telephone with corporate, another with an asm or the asds, and another with the potential department head/supervisor that you would be working in. Some stores offer to you right away, others do "call-backs" to bring you back in for 2nd and 3rd interviews. it can be frustrating, but the hiring process is very flexible from store to store.

The most difficult question will be why do you want to work for the company. Don't lie, if you just want to for a job then say so. If you genuinely want to move up and advance then say so. If you don't have a reason then say so.

20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview

They asked several questions but due to the fact that I was so over qualified...it was 'how soon can you start".
