Received an email from a recruiter regarding an application I had submitted through Linkedin. During the phone screen, she told me the start date was a week from Monday and that she'd be able to expidite the interview process. All she had to do was get me scheduled. I always only take what recruiters say with a grain of salt so thankfully I didn't get too excited about the position. I reached out to her a few days later and she said she was still waiting to hear back. After that, nothing ever came and the date she claimed I could've have started on passed. Very unprofessional.
