As always, I would recommend drafting the interview questions that _you_ would ask a peer TPM, and working on answers. They're looking for someone who can do the job, stay calm, keep things moving, and bring out the best in the team. Managers and PMs want to be supported, and are lookin for someone they can trust with responsibility, and a focus on what's best for the end user outcomes.
