I didn't know that particular acronym, so I told them. Turns out IOC means "Indicator Of Compromise" - which I knew what it was, just never heard that particular acronym in school. I can't believe that failure to define this particular acronym is what barred me from the job, but I was never told why I wasn't chosen.
