They want you to feel put at ease, they want you to think you are doing good being called back to a 2nd interview or a 3rd or so on. It is important to their pyramid scheme structure to have lots of potential underlings - the more the merrier. Remember its commission work so its no skin off their knees when they have numerous employees they expect most of them to wash out anyway, and even consider that part of the law of averages. Their salesmen can tell you a lot about selling tactics and quote to you laws of selling and marketing terms, they come across as very professional to listen to them. They might even quiz you while going house to house or talk to you about all these marketing ins and outs to give the impression of being exceptional business men. To make you feel you need to aspire to be like them.
