They gave me a scenario where I needed to implement the string split function by my own using the internal concepts of character array and some java collections, then some basics about memory allocation, string immutability, string builder, design patterns, HLD and LLD.

I started the whiteboard discussion with a bit of pressure as it was my first whiteboard interview, but then kept the active conversation with the couple of interviewers regarding my solution of the problems and was able to impress them and nail ittttt :-D.
