I was offered a ride-along, full-day interview and I accepted it. I was told I would be contacted to schedule the ride-along with a current sales representative in a day or two. After waiting a week, I reached out to the recruiter to figure out the what date I would come in for the full day interview. He did not have an answer at the time. He called me back a day later after speaking with the manager informing me that she retracted the interview after already offering it. As if me waiting for an hour in the lobby wasn't bad enough. He went on to say it was unprofessional and unexpected but that doesn't help anything. I was left disappointed in the leadership of this Manager more than anything.
