Sales and service orientated activities, clear that the company wants to employ quality people unlike other carriers. Classy!
During the application, you apply with your CV and a few mandatory questions. You get sent a link for a video interview, where you record your answers to two questions so you can show off your personality.
On the assessment day, you have to be prepared before the interview, you must write two 30 second PA's to sell an item on the cafe menu and the other for one retail item. You present this to a group of candidates and assessors - having a personality is a must!
Maths test, don't worry, you can use a calculator followed by a group discussion to assess your communication and negotiation skills.
If you are able to get through to the second stage of the interview process, you will have some roleplay exercises to demonstrate your sales style and how you deal with unexpected situations.
The interview is competency based so you should come prepared with your stories.
It was a really nice day although very quiet for candidate numbers, but that gave us the chance to really shine. Well done Thomson!
