To write an algorithm in Java that would calculate the sum of all decimal digits in a number.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to solve this unless I had seen the solution by chance in the past before the interview. I said that I’ve never had the need to write such an algorithm during my work as a QA automation over 6 years and highly doubt this kind of question can shed any light on my qualification for the position so why not to ask something relevant ?
