So far Toast has been quite unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I was very clear that I am actively interviewing and not in a position to entertain several weeks/month long interview processes (what candidate is?) . I initially applied for another position, but the recruiter stated I could probably interview for a higher level position once we went through the phone interview. Didn't hear from the recruiter for weeks and then they reached back out to move me to the next steps in the other position, so I gave them a pass thinking maybe they were re-assessing hiring needs. In the 2nd interview, hiring manager ended the interview with a very pointless question that had no relevancy to the conversation, so that was a little bit of a turn off. I've since followed up with the recruiter, who has not responded regarding next steps or if i'm in the running, but at this point i don't think i care if i am. Seems a lot of others have the same issues with this company so I'll just take this as a sign that they don't care about candidates, which is a good indicator of how they treat employees.
