Applied online through recruiter. Was immediately given a 2 hour HackerRank test. The test is not hard but the code is not checked for correctness and seems to be only used to check off boxes. The problems have various issues like HackerRank not parsing a new line when it should (worked on IDE) and strange algorithm timeout on the last task. The first task is also bogus with the JSON because it makes you use a JSON library that I didn't even have on my computer at the time so I had to test it on the website. Of course, rejected.
