Told to write complex logic in sql I did not even understand the requirement. They are using cursors in sql for looping I told that cursors will affect performance.

I told all the possible ways to arrive at the solution. They expect me to write the code using pen and paper. Had they given access to sql server I would have fared better at the interview.
