Great interview process for the role! They reached out via LinkedIn and the whole process from start to finish was extremely professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with everyone and although decided to not proceed further, this was more so due to my own desires to start a family than anything to do with the business.

Chaotic interview process. Recruiter downgraded my application for lead BDM to a BDM role which was a significantly lower salary bracket. I was invited for a first panel interview with two sales managers where I corrected the recruiters error and the tone was overly friendly which is not a bad thing but not usually the case when speaking about business acquisition and methodology. Seemed more like a friendly down the pub relaxed chat than anything serious. During the interview one manager pointed out that sales is about meritocracy which is how it should be but the tone of which it was delivered seemed out of place for an interview. At the end of the interview one of the sales manager mentioned that their credentials of being publicly listed which I mentioned was a benefit for wanting to work at the company was not that important and tried to downgrade the company's own credentials in the meeting to look less desirable! Seemed like they allowed pre-set misconception to guide the meeting which was a complete waste of my time. Threatened individuals. They tried to also re-frame my old company's structure of length of time managing new business accounts as my own desire to be an account executive instead of a business development manager despite having mostly built my career on developing new business. Again, another pre-set idea which they allowed to dictate the process. I came away thinking the process was not fair.

Had an initial screening call with a recruiter. I was told I would hear back the following week, but after 2 follow up emails I still heard nothing. A couple of weeks later I had a generic email where they hadn't even bothered to fill out the position I'd applied for, to say the position had been filled.
