I attended a talk by the department head, afterwards, wrote him an email addressing my interest of working in his team, he asked me to go over for an interview. The interviewers were him and another assistant professor.

I had two rounds of interviews and in both rounds I was interviewed online via Zoom. The interviews were friendly and professional. The questions were standard ones. Not very difficult.
