I was invited to an interview for a PhD position in bioscience. The interview lasted 30 minutes. The professor himself interviewed me. However, it was clear he was unprepared, spending too much time asking a single question and seeming to be thinking out loud rather than actually asking. Although no information about the interview had been provided in advance, I had prepared a 7-minute presentation of my master's thesis, which I presented. He asked questions about my thesis, my CV, and the project.
