My experience with the interview process was disappointing. The hiring process extended over nearly 3-4 months, with long gaps between interview rounds, which showed little respect for candidates time.
What concerned me most was my interaction with the hiring manager who suggested that I should withdraw my application because commuting to the office might be difficult for me. I believe that deciding whether I can manage the commute should have been left to me not assumed on my behalf.
For a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) India role, the interview process felt unnecessarily prolonged and inefficient. In my 15 years of professional experience, this has been one of the longest and least candidate friendly hiring processes I have encountered.
I hope the organization reviews its hiring practices to make the process more transparent, timely, and respectful of candidates time.
