I applied online for a few marketing positions but this was the first one where they contacted me for a phone interview. I spoke to a recruiter who had just started. He wanted to present my application to the hiring decision maker. After emailing him twice for a follow up or if they needed any additonal information like a cover letter or portfolio, I never heard back. I was excited to finally land an interview for this company and very disappointed with this experience. I can't believe I was treated like this. Direct communication could help.
