Screen with recruiter and different stage interviews with team. The team members I spoke to were combative and defensive and I never got any indication they were happy to work where they do.

1. A few rounds of zoom interviews - about 3 with different team members 2. A take home modeling exercise - took about 3 hours to complete, one element of it was quite challenging. The prompt was clear but had some deficiencies when it comes to explaining sales ops terms to people without experience. 3. Model presentations and on-site interviews - 5 hours total The first 2 stages were straightforward. The third had weird parts: 1. One of the interviewers was going a little bit over with me and the next interviewer in line got into the room. She left the room without saying goodbye or providing any impression on our conversation. Up until that point I felt that the conversation was intriguing and successful, but when she did that I was completely thrown off. 2. My model had a couple of flaws that I corrected on the spot, and then it worked perfectly. I was given some numbers to run and the results were exactly the ones they expected, so I was optimistic. 3. During the personal interviews, I discussed my resume thoroughly with most of the team members. I went into detail about my professional and personal decisions. 4. After I got home, I got an email from the recruiter saying the company wants me to write them why I left every single workplace in the past. I told the recruiter that I find this odd, as I went into detail on this with multiple interviewers and that I will not provide a write up, but will discuss this over the phone with them as much as they want. 5. A couple of weeks passed with no response from them or the recruiter, until they finally got back to him and declined.
