Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Vodafone (Newbury, England) em mar. de 2018
Entrevista
I applied for the graduate scheme around February and had my AC in Newbury on the 7th of March. On the overall a faster turnaround than most companies. Recruitment process is as follows:
1) Video Interview and Psychometrics
Unlike other companies, you are asked to do your video interview and psychometrics at the same time. The video interview was very standard, starting with a "Why Vodafone and how does your experience fit in with Vodafone?" and following with 4-5 competency questions. I can't remember what they were exactly as it was a while ago.
The psychometric test was one of the logical ones where you have to find the next image in a pattern series. It had about 24 questions and it felt easier to me than most others I did. There was a SJT after that which again was pretty standard and unmemorable.
I found out I got through the next day - really fast for a big company!
2) The AC
Firstly, they do not pay expenses. Considering they are 1h away from London in a tiny town, it's a bit rude. They do not offer any lunch either. They have 2 ACs a day (morning and afternoon), convenienty scheduled so that no one stays there over lunch. Very stingy for a big company. The exercises were as follows:
a) Group exercise
We had to decide a business plan on how Vodafone should deal with the emergence of e-SIM. We had to consider opportunities, threats, applications to different customer groups/markets and future research. At the end we have to present our conclusions to assessors. No questions were asked which was a bit weird.
b) Individual presentation
We had to prepare a presentation in advance on one of 4 technologies: IoT, AI/Machine Learning, AR/VR, Blockchain. The presentation is strictly timed to 10 minutes, with a further 10 for questions at the end. I felt the assessor was not listening to me and the questions he asked were unrelated to my material...
c) Interview
Very standard and competency-based. My interviewer was lovely and she really put me at ease.
